So many people wants to arrange their drive letter 'C:\' 'E:\' 'F:\' to 'C:\' 'D:\' 'E:\'.. Some want to hide drives on computer. I have already posted a article about 'how to hide drive' but in that all will work when you enter drive letter. Here some new way to hide drive.
1. Right Click on My computer
2. Then click on Manage it will open a windows
3. Right panel of window you will see a Disk management under storage
4. Click on Disk management. In left panel of windows you will see your all drive
5. Right click on drive which drive letter you want to change
6. You will see change drive letter and path. click on it
- To change drive letter
1. Right Click on My computer
2. Then click on Manage it will open a windows
3. Right panel of window you will see a Disk management under storage
4. Click on Disk management. In left panel of windows you will see your all drive
5. Right click on drive which drive letter you want to change
6. You will see change drive letter and path. click on it
7. Now a windows box is open . Select the drive first the click change
8. Again a small windows is open . Select a drive letter as your desire and click ok
Now you can your drive letter is changed , I suggest you don't change OS drive letter as C:\
- To hide drive letter
1. Same as above serial number 6
2. Select the drive first then click Remove. It will remove drive letter also hide from my computer and this drive will not to work but all data are safe in your disk.. You can recovery the drive from change drive letter and path.. I suggest you don't remove drive letter of your OS. If you do, your system will not boost next time.
