If you are working with custom domain email Id. This post is useful for you. I am posting this article for blogger and entrepreneur who have a custom domain email id and having problem to manage with own Gmail id. Gmail provide a feature to redirect all your Email from Outlook or any other service provider to Gmail. I am sending mail through care@lesson884.com from my existing Gmail account and mail receiving also in my Gmail Account.
Steps 1:
LogIn to Gmail.
Steps 2:
Click on the Icon Setting. It is a drop down menu then again click on Setting as shown in figure.
Step 2:
Enter your Custom Mail Id and Click Next Step
Step 3:
Enter Your mail and Password
Note : POP Server name is sensitive please check if mail. yourdom.com not working
- Process 1: Add your custom mail to Gmail account
Steps 1:
LogIn to Gmail.
Steps 2:
Click on the Icon Setting. It is a drop down menu then again click on Setting as shown in figure.
Step 3:
Now click on the Account and Imports then Add Another Email Address You Own.
Step 4:
You will see a Popup has been Open. Enter a name as your desire and Email id you want to redirect then click on Next Step.
Step 5:
Enter your mail Id as user name and password and click Add Account. Google will send a verification code to given mail. Enter the code and click ok!
When you successfully complete this process. Compose a mail, You will see your custom domain mail Id is added with your existing Gmail Id. Let have a look.
Now you can only send mail through your custom mail Id but receive any mail at this mail Id
- Process 2: Redirect your mail to Gmail and start receiving.
Step 1:
Again go to Setting and click Account and Import then Add a POP3 mail account you own
Step 2:
Enter your Custom Mail Id and Click Next Step
Step 3:
Enter Your mail and Password
Note : POP Server name is sensitive please check if mail. yourdom.com not working
Now you are able to send and receive mail through your custom domain mail Id
